Domain Deletion and Auto-renewal

The term of a domain ("contract") is defined in sections 11) and 8) of Joker.com's T&C. The domain owner aquires the right of use of a domain by pre-paying the fee of the desired term of the domain.
The contract is regarded as terminated with the expiration of the domain, if the domain is not renewed in time by the domain owner.
One day after the domain expired, the nameserver records of the expired domain will be changed. This will disrupt any services associated with the domain. Customers noticing this change and wishing to renew, will have another 14 days to renew their domain.
In case a domain is not prolongued by 14 days after the expiration date, Joker.com reserves the right to delete the domain, or to proceed otherwise. In case of the generic top level domains ("gTLDs"), a re-registration typically is possible again after 45 days.

In case of country specific domains ("ccTLDs"), rules may differ and/or additional provisions may apply.
