The registration of .FR domain names is available for corporate entities and individuals that are based in within the territory
of one of the member states of the European Unionor within the territory of the following countries: Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland
Please note: The legal residence/place of business must be located in one of the above listedcountries.
A trademark registered for the European Union or an individual European state is notsufficient to be entitled to register .FR domains.
The domain name holder and the administrative contact must be reachable and must provide avalid telephone number and e-mail address.
They must ensure that such information is kept up-todate at all times through their registrar.

Change of ownership: The change of ownership process is carried out via a domain update transaction;
the Registrant will be responsible for obtaining the agreement of the outgoing and incoming registrants to carry out the transaction.
The transaction will not be charged. The transaction does not change the expiration date of the domain name.
